The application of science and technology on the systems of living things and their function will develop new fields of industry. This will include contributions to medical services and health care by the development of medical science and pharmacy, production of high quantity food and clean energy resources, environmental purification and monitoring, bioprocesses in the chemical industry and many others. Those who complete our teaching program will take on leadership roles in such new areas of bioscience and biotechnology.
